Zucchini Pasta Casserole
Fill about two liters of water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
While the water is heating up cut an onion and two pieces of garlic into cubes.
Put some salt and 250g pasta in the boiling water. Boil pasta for ten minutes.
Melt two table spoons of butter in a pan, cook onion and garlic in the heated butter. Add two table spoons of vegetable stock (powder) and two table spoons of plain flour. Deglaze with 250ml milk while stirring. and bring it to a boil. Put pan aside.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Slice two Zucchinis and add put them in the pasta pot two minutes before the pasta is cooked. Decant the water.
Cut four thick slices of cheese (I prefer gouda) in cubes. Add half of the cheese, 2-3 table spoons of creme cheese (with herbs) and basil to the onion sauce.
Grease a oven dish. Layer pasta, sauce and the rest of the cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes.
